Karhu dove back into the archives looking for an iconic summer apparel item to reissue during the warmer months. The team stumbled upon a very colourful collection from the mid-80s.

At the time, Karhu was not necessarily known for bright tones, but one item that stood out was the Team College T-shirt. The stand out piece features a multicolour design using both the bear logo and brand word mark.

The all white T-shirt offers the perfect canvas for bringing back the seven-colour screen print “rainbow” logo. This retro inspired Team College T-shirt is as closely reissued to the original.

To create a more complete collection, Karhu partnered once again with Italian sock brand FLAT. In the spirit of the Team College T-shirt, FLAT used their “Prisma” sock design with a multi-colour Karhu word mark design knitted around the calf. These high quality socks, made in Italy play the perfect compliment to the retro inspired t-shirt. Both the Team College T-shirt and Karhu x FLAT collab sock will be launched exclusively in limited amounts at the Karhu Concept Stores in Helsinki (Finland) and Boston (USA) and via Karhu.com on Saturday, August the 12th.
